Since Luke has been born and the first few months were extremely exhausting, our family had put off church on a regular basis. Within the past month, we have been attending regularly and boy does it feel good and right. We are a Christian family and attempt to lead a life of Christ, with minor slip ups along the way.
Our church has a program called, "Adopt a Cop"......it entails selecting an officer from the list of the Tri Cities, and committing to praying for them for 2 months. We always do this as a family and Chris enjoys the postcards you get from those that prayed for you. Chris spoke in a video for church regarding this program and made me so proud. He spoke of the dangers of the job and how much he appreciates the prayers for himself and his family. I again am blessed to have this man as my husband.....
My prayers are endless some days.....I said a prayer for Zachary Hurst, a 3 month old baby that will possibly go to be with Jesus very soon. I said a prayer for Jenn's Ohio neighbor who buried her son yesterday. Peace and protection over all of those that I know and love, financial freedom (boy God jumped on this one and spoke to me at church, on Joel Osteen later that night, and through Dave Ramsey's book....I don't think he will stop just there either......what do you think??? I prayed for our Zachary and praise request for Luke. Many more were followed throughout the day. I thank God to be privileged to be a Christian. I don't always show this, but am very grateful today!!
God Bless......
