Show Us Where You Live Friday.....

It's that time again for Show Us Where You Live!! (I think it should be called Thursday, instead of Friday, since this seems like the post day, but oh well, we are all easy, and it works for us....ha). Anyway, this week is for laundry, bonus, and/or play room. Since I am not super proud of our bonus room at this point, I am going to exclude it...it really is nothing special since we sold our old couch set that was up there to complete some rock in our landscaping!

Well, here is our laundry room, I would still like to spruce it up since it is connected to the garage and the first room I see. It is funny because if my hubby does laundry (he is only supposed to do towels...hint, hint) and leaves them on the top of the dryer, it sets my mood. I really like this room to be tidy and everything in it's place!

Sink portion......

Door to the garage.....

Well that was easy......ALL DONE!!

Show Us Where You Live......

~BATHROOMS~
Master Bathroom
This is our double shower...the picture does not do it justice! I absolutely love our shower and would not mind having an even bigger one in our next house.....

Side view of our spa area....

Front view of the spa area.....
(I think it's funny to call it a "Spa" area, but this is what my hubby always calls it, so it's kind of stuck in my head)

Vanity area.....

View from our bedroom......

Powder Room
Nothing special about this room, a little laundry basket to throw little wash cloths in when you are done drying your hands.
Toilet view
(guess you probably do not care about this)

These pictures hold bible verses, quotes about faith, etc....

And the vanity.....

Welcome to the BOYS Room!
This is my least favorite room, because you are bound to find toys gallore, pee pee around the toilet, and clothes on the floor! Oh the joys of little boys.....

This sign is in honor of my boys (it fits my hubby some days too)
"I'm not messy, I'm creative"

I bought this at a little store at the beach while on a girl's trip....
I missed my Zachary soooo much that day....

Little cute canvas pictures I found at Target
There are two more that say "astronaut" and "cook"

A look at the whole view of the Boys Room....
(well the best I could do at this angle with a cruddy camera)
See you Next Friday.....maybe, isn't it garages??

Happy Birthday Luke

Happy Birthday Luke....a.k.a - Little Daddy, Jammos, Lukie Pookie, Mans, Sons! We had a blast today for your birthday!

We started the day with your normal routine. Daddy got up with you at 6 am, fed you your bottle (by the way these are gone as of tomorrow, but you only get it in the morning and sippy cups the rest of the day). After your milk, you had your favorite breakfast "waffles with strawberry jam and syrup". Some playtime and shaking the new gate that blocks you from one side of the house, you were ready for a nap!

Mommy and Daddy took ourselves outside to conquer you and your brother's new present! The Almighty, Gigantic Inflatable Waterslide. Your brother paid 200.00 and you paid some with your birthday money from Grandma, Papa and Grandma Karan! Daddy had to leave for work (he could not get the day off because two other people in his crew had training and he had to cover), so Mommy some how figured out the rest!

You woke up so happy from your nap, had some lunch (chicken and cheerios), and Mommy whisked you off for some quick one year old birthday pictures!

You had fun crawling around the studio and liked to pound on the wall! We have began to see a little aggressive side in you over the past month or so....

I must say, you are one handsome little man at one year of age! I could just smooch all over that little face.

Here you are with "dino" who you sleep with at naps and bedtime. You usually will grab "dino" and immediately put your thumb in your little mouth. It is really cute, however do not know if you will be doing this still at age 6!

And one more where you are sitting so nicely....
The fun began when you got your birthday cake.....

At first you took it pretty easy, exploring the taste on your pallette....

And then to heck with it, this stuff is good....

After pictures, we headed home for a nap. Brother came home from school and was shocked to see your and his present in the backyard.....soooo, we let him go on it first! Before we knew it there were 15 million neighbor kids over and it became pretty hectic. Then the TRAGEDY happened....A BIG HOLE at the bottom of the side along the seam. Let's just say, Mommy was a little upset (seeing money go down the drain) after one hour of use. So, she sent home all of the neighborhood kids and called the company (who will send a new one out in July...what July....this is June). They did tell Mommy to sew up the whole with fishing wire and spray glue. Sooooo, after your nap, we headed to Ranch and Home and JoAnn's fabric for our supplies.
On a side note, we are getting a FENCE, even if we have to buy it on a loan (Sorry Dave Ramsey). We "need" to force the neighborhood kids to knock on the front door and not walk around the side of our house.
Moving on......your first home birthday party began at our house with your Grammy, Papa, and Grandma Karan!
Waiting for the the favorite spoilers to arrive....
Unwrapping one of your gifts from Grandma Karan...

Not knowing if the paper is the present....because it sure is fun!

Realizing this car is much better than the paper.....

And happy with Grandma Karan!!

Eating dinner before going sliding....

Still hanging out....

Ready to get out there and have some fun....

Trying to tell Daddy to stop taking pictures and let you in that water!
You love the water by the way.

And here it is the MONSTER waterslide!
Notice your fan section to the side...Papa and Grandma Karan....

You loved playing with the water spray guns...

Trying to catch the water some more....

Grammy giving you a helping hand.....

AND the best picture for last....
My little man.....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
LOVE,
DADDY, MOMMY, AND BROTHER (brabra)
More partying to come this Saturday!

Schools Out for Summer!!

Bitter Sweet! My first love, Zachary ends another chapter in his life, completing his 4th grade year.....moving on up to the 5th! Today is a memorable day as I gave birth to my next love, Luke and my first love is growing up just too darn fast. This morning, we did the "pictures by the front door" routine. Just prior, however, I held Luke and Zach in my arms and was reminded of the days in the hospital just one year and ten years ago......so like I said, it is bitter sweet~
Remember this from many posts ago....Zachary on the first day of 4th grade

And here he is ending the 4th grade.....

This time he posed with his litle bro....

And then, even better, with his studly friends....
This is the "cool" picture!

And this is the smiling picture....

Sunday Citar

Thankfully, I follow my sister in law, Jenn's blog, so that I could stumble across 'Sunday Citar' from http://freshmommyblog.com/

"While we try to teach our children all about life,Our children teach us what life is all about"
~Angela Schwindt~

My life has changed since having Luke. You see, since having my oldest, Zachary at the young age of 19, his childhood flew before my eyes due to working full time, school full time, and trying to be a mommy all at once. Some days I will wander back to these days and wonder how I did it. The sad and unfortunate part is that I never stopped moving that fast until a little boy named, Luke was put into my life. God has used him to slooooow me down, take a deep breath, and enjoy every moment that my children grace me with their presence.

You know, these three boys (well one is a man, you know my hubby) are the greatest gifts that God has given me here on earth!

The countdown is on!

3 more days.....

Until our baby turns 1!

3 more days until our little guy turns 1 year old!! I really cannot believe that he is so grown up. Today he has taken 3 steps, however they do not "really" count because he would take them as he was falling into the couch.....

Guess we will have to wait and see if he conquers this by his "First Birthday"

Show Us Where You Live Friday!

It's that time again.....for "Show us where you live Friday" brought to you by Kelly's Korner! Well this week is show us your office. I cannot wait to complete this room as I am in it a lot for work!! We still need to put up the chair rail, purchase an electric fireplace, and a new plasma. Anyway, someday it will be complete (and watch then we will move).

This is a picture from August last year. The shelves are much more full of books and pictures now, but my crummy camera kept making it blurry.

Here is a view of our desk...nothing special, except for our touch screen computer, which rocks!!

Here is the start of the family pictures, another collage is in the foyer and I have been putting off completing this.

Here is a collage of pictures and awards for Chris at work. He was not to keen on the idea, but went with it because I really wanted to put them up. He really likes to keep work and home life separate.

And here is the frame my brother and sister in law gave me for a graduation gift. I only have my Masters in it and need to order my Bachelors because I seemed to have lost it somewhere...oops!

So hope you liked the office....see you next week!
